Henderson, NV – January 8, 2018 – Derek Uehara, Republican candidate for Nevada State Treasurer, has received the endorsement of Mayor Pro Tem of Henderson, Dan Stewart.

Uehara has also received the endorsement of The Vegas Voice, the monthly magazine for age 50+ in the Valley. He is a Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Planner® (CFP), and a small business owner. He is a former United States Army Reservist.
As a community leader, he has served as a mentor with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s “I CAN BE Program,” as a mentor with the Clark County School District’s Summer Business Institute, as President of the Nevada Small Business Council, and as a Board Member of both the Water Street District Business Association & the University of Hawaii Alumni Association.
Uehara is married with one son and two dogs.
